I read all the reviews that warned against the fragility of these glasses before buying them, but went ahead with my purchase anyhow. So far, I still have both glasses, and use them regularly. I'm really careful to not just slam ice cubes into them, which isn't usually a problem, since I generally use them for beer (no ice, duh).These glasses keep my beer noticeably cooler than regular glasses or a bottle. I'm not sure for how long, since I try not to let beer sit around for too long once poured.If you like cold beer, these glasses are a good buy.
Naturally it broke. I left one next to the sink last night.
I drink beer from them often. We also have the Bodum double wall coffee mugs.
I love these Bodum double wall glasses. The bodum glassware is much nicer to drink from when you're sitting relaxing.Be very careful with them though.I've had the beer glasses for 3 1/2 months.
My wife and I have coffee in them every day. The beer glasses keep the beer colder than any other glass and the coffee mugs keep coffee hotter than any mug except a stainless steel mug with a top on it.
I was rushing and turned to put a spoon in the sink and knocked the glass into the sink. So treat them as you would a fine wine glass.I was going to buy a couple of more these glasses as replacements but I'm going to try the Bodum double wall pilsner glasses since I've always preferred pilsner glasses for beer.
Goodbye glass - hello itsy-bitsy pieces of glass along with several shards. They made it through the dishwasher and a first night of use. Glasses were delivered Monday. The double wall gives an interesting look to the glass, but it also looks like something that one would assume is a clear plastic. On Thursday one was accidentally "nudged" and it fell over in the sink. (Thankfully it was IN the sink). If you live alone and absolutely no one else would handle these glasses, go for it.but beware. It's back to acrylics for my next insulated "glassware."
Every one shattered after slight falls or collisions with other glassware. They're all gone. Four of the tall ones, three of the short ones. I've given up. Theywere fine while they lasted.
The Bodum double wall glasses are the best. Great for cold beer too. We are big coffee drinkers and love to use them. The class does not feel hot, yet the coffee stays wonderfully hot. The coolest. Lovely look too; would make a neat gift.
